Newsletter

Last night I sent out my very first Kristie's Kreations Newsletter!  If you did not receive it and would like to be added to my list, please let me know.  I will happily add you to the list and send it to you!  I titled it Branding Recognition From Kristie's Kreations.  What do you think about that title?  My Framing Statement is "I help companies increase their name recognition."  Because this is what I try to always say, I thought that this name would be appropriate.

So far the response to the Newsletter has been really good and encouraging!  Not only have I received personal emails back recepients but some are continuing on and clicking through to my blog!  This is great!  I am so excited and never thought it would be this much fun!

A few bad things have come out of the Newsletter though.  The first one is that I made a typo in the first paragraph.  I have received a few emails telling me about the typo!  Thank you to everyone that told me about it.  I really have some good spell checkers in my presence!  (Obviously Mark is not one of them though because I asked him to read over it before I sent it.  He caught a few other mistakes but not this one!)  Oh well!  As I have said before, Mistakes Happen!  Not everyone is perfect!  I hope you continue to read my newsletters and blogs - with or without mistakes.   Oh . . . and please feel free to let me know when I do make a mistake!

Second has to do with the stats of the newsletter.  This includes a few that were undeliverable, one who said they did not have time to read a blog and one recipient who opted out of receiving the newsletter.  I totally understand receiving a lot of emails in a day and not wanting one more to read!  I have to pick and choose daily what I read.  Unfortunately sometimes ones that I want to read get skipped over accidentally.  I also understand the time thing.  I do not have time to read blogs every day!  There are some days in the evening after the kids are in bed that I just take an hour or so of my tv time to catch up on blogs that I just have not had time to read.  Another easy way of checking out blogs is by addiing the RSS Feed to your Outlook so that they come in almost like your emails do.  I do not know much about this or how it even works but I does.  Back to the opt out, I wonder what is the average number of opt outs on a first run or newsletters.  Anyone know?

I know these really are not bad things and it is all a learning process.  I will continue to keep moving on!
