Top Searches

Today I checked the 'Dashboard' for my blog. This consists of many different aspects of my blog but a small list of some of the things included are:

  • The number of posts I have made

  • The number of pages included in my blog

  • How many comments I have

  • A graph of how many visits I have had daily and monthly

  • A list of where these visits came from

  • The top posts on my blog

  • The most active pictures, posts and pages

  • The top searches of how others found my blog

I am always checking the comments section as well as the graph of the number of visitors.  Of course I find these fun because then I know who is checking out my blog!!

I also find the "Top Searches" section particularly interesting because for the most part, these are coming from people around the world.  Most of these people, if not all, I do not know and they do not know me.  So today I checked out my Dashboard.  This is what I found:

How interesting is that??!!??   Why would so many people be searching for embroidered toilet paper?

Embroidered toilet paper is one of the things that I like to tell people about at networking events.  This is something that when I talk about it . .  I will always be remembered.  Yes, that means that I will be remembered for 'embroidering toilet paper' but that is OK.  At least they will remember me!!

The conversation is rarely left at the fact that I embroider toilet paper!  In fact, there are always more questions to follow.  The top question usually asked is, "Why do you embroider toilet paper?"  This is a great question and you are probably wondering the same thing.  I will begin with the reason that I just mentioned. .  .because it is unique and you will remember it!

Other reasons include:

  • It shows that we can embroider on almost anything even something as delicate as toilet paper.

  • It is a great gift for the person that has anything!

  • Still yet, if you have a company restroom, why not have you logo embroidered on the toilet paper placed on the back of the toilet?  Just another way for your customers to see your logo. . .even in the restroom!

For those of you who did not search for embroidered toilet paper. . .why not?  Just kidding!  What do you think about embroidered toilet paper?

For those of you who found me because of this exact search, please leave me a comment and let me know why you are searching for this particular thing!!

Networking and Blogging

This morning I got up early to make it to my bimonthly networking meeting for NAG.  Today was special because I was the featured speaker.  Jeff Bowe and I take turns facilitating the meetings but today he was running a little late.  This meant that not only was I speaking at the end of the meeting but I was also facilitating to get things started.  Unfortunately after everyone had their chance to go around the room and give there minute or more spiel about themselves, I only had about 7 minutes to speak.  Because it was running late, some of the members started to get up to head to their other appointments.

During my brief speak, I was able to mention a few things that were on my list.  Again, because of time I only was able to quickly mention these items.  One of which is the start of this new blog!  I explained how it is very important to me that I become the expert when it comes to embroidery and promotional products for my customers.  If I do not know the answer then I will do my best to find the answer.

Most of the blog discussion occurred after the meeting was over between a few of the remaining members including Amy Stark, Jeff Bowe, Mary Pat McKee, Jim Hugenard and of course myself.  We discussed how to get others to know about your blog.  It was mentioned that we need to start checking out each others blogs and leave messages on their blogs.  The helps to move blogs higher in the search enginges.  When I returned to the office I did just that and started by checking out a few of their blogs.  I started with Jeff's.  Read my comments.

I was able to show a few samples of the picture weave gifts, quality of embroidery, green products, antibacterial promotional product and embroidered toilet paper.

Of course the question that I always get was asked, "Why embroider toilet paper?" and of course the answer is "Why not?".  I then continued to give other reasons such as it is a very memorable item!  Anyone that I show it to will always remember that I embroider toilet paper.  I am OK with this because at least they remember me.  Another reason is that is shows that we can embroider on things as delicate as toilet paper.  It is a unique way to show your company logo along with the embroidered towels.  Always have your logo in front of your customers even when they use your restroom.  And last but not least, it is a gift for the person that has anything.

So, what do you think?  Do you like the embroidered toilet paper?  Do you have other uses for the embroidered toilet paper?  I wouldlove to hear them!

I'm Back even though it is Wordless Wednesday!!

Well, today I am back to the blogging and also the world of Kristie's Kreations. The last week or so has been rough! The kids were sick and then I got it!

Today I took a few minutes to read up on a few of my favorite blog web pages. I read on Smaller Indiana that Wednesdays are supposed to be Wordless Wednesday. Well, I am not sure that I can do that but here is a picture to ponder. . .

[caption id="attachment_27" align="alignnone" width="330" caption="Embroidered Toilet Paper"]Embroidered Toilet Paper[/caption]

WHY EMBROIDERED TOILET PAPER??

Well, there are a few different reasons. . . First of all, WHY NOT?. . . it shows that embroidery can go on almost anything including something as delicate as toilet paper. . .why not embroider your logo on toilet paper and put it in a basket on the back of the toilet? This is just one more way for your logo to be seen by your customers! . . .You will always remember the embroidered toilet paper. In fact, a friend of mine has remembered me from the day we met because of the embroidered toilet paper!. . . and last of all, it is a great gift for the person who has anything!

What are your thoughts on the embroidered toilet paper?
